History
The Church of St
Patrick’s was originally an agricultural building
and during the Second World War it was used as a
canteen for soldiers. In about 1947 it was converted
into a Church by the zeal and hard work of the local
community, with further reordering in 1994.
The congregation at St Patrick's today is drawn
from East Ilsley, West Ilsley, Compton and the
surrounding villages.
