Our Church

The Abingdon Parish serves the most northern part of the Thames Isis Pastoral Area through the Church of Our Lady and St Edmund of Abingdon. Whether you are new to the Parish, a visitor to the area, or an existing Church member, Our Lady and St Edmund is a welcoming Parish with regular parishioners and a thriving youth community, joining together to celebrate the Roman Catholic faith.

Our Church honours the devote Patron Saint Edmund whose Feast Day is celebrated on the 16th November every year here in Abingdon, his birthplace. We also work closely with the community of the Sisters of Mercy and our Catholic schools – Our Lady’s Junior and Senior School and St Edmund’s Primary School.
