and Welcome to Thames Isis Roman Catholic Pastoral Area

Willkommen! Vítejte! Bienvenido! Bienvenue! Dobrodošli! Benvenuti! üdvözöljük! Welkom! Witamy Serdecznie! Bom Dia!
The Week of the 23rd Sunday of Ordinary Time

Welcome to the Thames Isis Pastoral Area, a community of five Catholic parishes with over 2000 members which are committed to celebrating their faith and working together as part of the Pastoral Plan of the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth, in communion with our Bishop Crispian Hollis.

Our central purpose is to give glory to God, and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which we believe to be good news for all people. We do this both by our worship and by our lives. As a Pastoral Area we recognise the need to nurture local worshipping communities, and through these to support individuals and families in their faith. We are also keen to welcome fellow Catholics, wherever you may come from, and those who are wishing to explore the Catholic Faith.

Visit the individual websites for each parish to find the location of your nearest one and more information about the local worshipping communities within them. You will also find links to detailed information about individual churches, contact details and ways of getting involved.

A Leadership Team of clergy and lay people from all our parishes meets regularly to promote ways in which we can share resources, deepen our understanding of our faith, support each other and find ways of sharing the Christian Gospel with others and serving our local communities. This team is convened by the Co-ordinating Pastor, Father Paul King.
