Our Church

The Abingdon Parish serves the most northern part of the
Thames Isis Pastoral Area through the Church of Our Lady and
St Edmund of Abingdon, and is a welcoming community with
parishioners of all different backgrounds,
nationalities and ages.
Our Church is dedicated to St Edmund, a
native of Abingdon, whose feast day is
celebrated on November 16th. We have close
links with our Catholic schools in Abingdon
- Our Lady’s Junior and Senior School and St
Edmund Primary School. We are part of the
Abingdon Christian community at large “The
Church in Abingdon” and we greatly value our
work together.
